Situational prevention of child sexual abuse

Situational prevention of child sexual abuse represents a relatively new approach in preventing this kind of victimization of the youngest. Summarizing the etiological knowledge regarding general crime and the knowledge of risk factors of sexual victimization there is a comprehensive approach formed which includes environmental manipulation and strengthening of protective factors within the subject context. Accepting the significance of situational prevention the paper will present the implications of certain phenomenological indicators, the analysis of the principles of situational prevention and the survey of typology of sexual offenders and risk factors of sexual victimization development.
