This paper examines Karl Marx's philosophy within contemporary global contradictions, such as growing economic inequality, labor exploitation, environmental crises, and the concentration of wealth and power. Amid these challenges, Marx's ideas are revisited as a critical framework for understanding systemic injustices and envisioning transformative solutions. Central to Marxist philosophy is the materialist conception of history, which posits that the economic base shapes the superstructure of society, including politics, culture, and ideology. It emphasizes the role of class struggle and the contradictions inherent in capitalism as the drivers of historical change. Using historical materialism and dialectical analysis research methodologies, this study evaluates Marx's critique of capitalism and its relevance to addressing modern socio-economic issues. The findings reveal that while Marxism has faced distortions and critique, its principles remain essential for analyzing systemic inequalities and inspiring collective action toward equity and justice.
