LA REPRESENTACIÓN DE LA IDENTIDAD INDIVIDUAL EN LA NARRATIVA MEXICANA DE LOS ALBORES DEL SIGLO XXI

Abstract

This work analyzes the transformations that exist in the representation of the individual identity in the Mexican narrative works published between 1995 and 2010 by the writers: Guillermo Fadanelli, Carlos Fuentes, Patricia Laurent Kullick, Héctor Manjarrez, Eduardo Antonio Parra, Aline Pettersson, Pedro Ángel Palou, Xavier Velasco y Socorro Venegas. The article has a general perception with the aim of emphasizing, from the individual poetics, the process of symbolization of the “I” in the Mexican narrative from the beginnings of the 21st century, that as cultural phenomenon unfolds in the borders of literariness and society. The theoretical perspective that encourages the analysis starts off, mainly, from the proposal of the North American psychologist Kenneth Gergen, the sociologist Zigmunt Bauman and the mythocritic proposal of Gilbert Durand.
