Cytokine Profile Features in Children with Duodenal Ulcer Depending on Endoscopic and Morphometric Parameters

Abstract

The analysis of interleukins content in children depending on the size of ulcerous defect, severity of inflammation, toxigenicity of Helicobacter pylori strains was carried out. The positive correlation between diameter of ulcer, the nature of inflammatory changes, cytotoxicity of Helicobacter pylori and the level of both proinflammatory and antiinflammatory interleukins was noted.
