Borderline ovarian tumors were first infected about 100 years ago. They are detected at an early stage and have a favorable outcome. But, as is known, relapse can begin within 20 years after therapy. Most often they occur in young women who are still interested in reproductive function, which influences the choice of further treatment tactics. Borderline ovarian tumors can indeed be challenging to diagnose based solely on clinical and ultrasound data. Accurate diagnosis often requires surgical intervention and histological examination of the tissue obtained. The review you mentioned likely covers various methods of diagnosis and treatment for borderline ovarian tumors, given the complexity of their diagnosis and management. Many discussions on this topic often address the challenges of accurate diagnosis and available treatment options.
