The classic presentation of malaria with paroxysms of fever is seen only in 50%–70% of patients. Development of immunity, increasing resistance to antimalarial drugs, and indiscriminate use of antimalarial drugs have led to malaria presenting with unusual features. This review compiles a description of the various atypical manifestations of malaria. Keywords: malaria, atypical manifestations
