Gerações de inovação tecnológica no ensino a distância
Abstract
This text analysis the evolution of communication technologies in what relatesto the development of alternative environments and models for distance education. The analysis starts from the concept of technological innovation generations in distance learning, proposed by Garrison (1985). Various perspectives, from other authors in the field of study, are presented and compared. Stemming from this analysis, a model has been developed by theauthor and it is proposed in the form of a table describing the generations ofdistance education technologies.
