PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BERBASIS FLIPBOOK PADA MATERI KALOR DAN PERPINDAHANNYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI SISWA

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk dan mengukur kualitas produk tersebut. Produk tersebut adalah bahan ajar berbasis flipbook pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R&D (Research and Development). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 14 Jember kelas VII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Model yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket, rubrik, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil wawancara dengan guru IPA di SMPN 14 Jember dalam proses pembelajaran hanya menerapkan penggunaan bahan ajar berupa LKS dan buku paket. Selama kegiatan pembelajaran siswa cenderung tidak memperhatikan guru sehingga pembelajaran berlangsung tidak kondusif.Adapun hasil pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis flipbook yaitu dari data validitas bahan ajar berbasis flipbook pada materi kalor dan perpindahan mendapatkan hasil 93% dengan kategori sangat valid dan dapat digunakan tanpa revisi sebagai bahan ajar berbasis flipbook pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Hasil kepraktisan penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis flipbook pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya memperoleh 91% yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hasil analisis tersebut memenuhi kriteria sebagai bahan ajar yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP. Hasil keefektifan bahan ajar berbasis flipbook pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya menunjukkan skor rata-rata nilai N-gain pada masing-masing aspek mengalami peningkatan. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to produce products and measure the quality of these products. The product is a flipbook-based teaching material on heat and its displacement material to improve students' communication skills. This type of research is development research or R&D (Research and Development). The subjects in this study were students of class VII SMPN 14 Jember in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The model used in this study is the ADDIE model with 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, rubrics, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of interviews with science teachers at SMPN 14 Jember in the learning process only apply the use of teaching materials in the form of worksheets and textbooks. During learning activities students tend not to pay attention to the teacher so that learning takes place is not conducive. As for the results of the development of flipbook-based teaching materials, namely from the validity data of flipbook-based teaching materials on heat and displacement materials, the results were 93% with a very valid category and can be used without revision as flipbook-based teaching materials on heat and displacement materials. The results of the practicality of using flipbook-based teaching materials on heat and displacement materials obtained 91% which belong to the very practical category. The results of this analysis meet the criteria as teaching materials that are suitable for use in learning science in junior high schools. The results of the effectiveness of flipbook-based teaching materials on heat and displacement material show that the average N-gain score for each aspect has increased.
