New records of lichen genera and species for Colombia

Abstract

Dirina paradoxa, Heterocyphelium triseptatum, Julella sublactea, Opegrapha aurantiaca, Peltula steppae, Sarcographina cyclospora and Schistophoron tenue are reported for the first time in Colombia. The genera Dirina, Heterocyphelium Sarcographina and Schistophoron are reported for the first time in Colombia. These lichens mainly originate from dry ecosystems where previous collections of lichenized fungi have been uncommon.
