Background. The quality of operation of the information management system (IMS) of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) significantly depends on the structure of the complex, the features of its construction. The commercial use of UAV complexes is characterized by the desire to reduce the cost, including through electronic control systems. Since UAV complexes of the commercial sector are operated for a long time. The relevance of assessing the risks of failures of electronic components of information and control systems in arbitrary environmental conditions, it becomes relevant to synthesize such information and control systems that could withstand the loads specified at minimal cost. Materials and methods. The analysis of failure modes of the UAV mechanisms, the reasons for their occurrence. The assessment of the reliability of the UAV. An original approach to the synthesis of an information and control system for unmanned aerial vehicles based on a networkcentric method for obtaining data on both external influences and the information transmission systems themselves is proposed. An approach to solving the problem of routing and optimizing the UAV trajectory is proposed, the solution of which is also assigned to the IMS of the UAV. When substantiating the structure of a distributed IMS by a complex of unmanned aerial vehicles and developing an algorithm for coordinating their interaction, methods of system analysis were used, as well as the method of analyzing hierarchies and linear programming methods. Results and conclusions. The urgency of the problem of increasing the reliability of its functioning on the basis of timely identification of the main causes of failures is confirmed, which makes it possible to identify “bottlenecks” in the routing system, as well as to propose an approach to building the structure of information management systems (IMS) of commercial UAVs. The choice of the structure of a distributed IMS by a complex of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles is substantiated, and an algorithm for coordinating their interaction is developed to maximize the target indicator. The use of the presented distributed network-centric IMS by a complex of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles makes it possible to increase the efficiency of their network application in logistics applications. The proposed distributed network-centric IMS by a complex of unmanned aerial vehicles and the algorithms for its operation can be used to create a distributed logistics network based on the operation of a UAV.
