Democrazia e diritti sociali nell’immaginario giuridico moderno

Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between democracy and social rights. The Author points out how the economic and financial crisis leads to the ineffectiveness of social rights. In particular, the analysis follows the arguments of Cornelius Castoriadis, in order to outline a modern legal imaginary of social rights. This approach makes it possible to distinguish between the different generations of rights, according to the thesis of Norberto Bobbio.
