FOREIGN CAPITAL IN BANKING SECTOR OF UKRAINE: IMPACT, CONSEQUENCES AND PERSPECTIVES
Abstract
In the article we have got: the theoretical foundations to assess the impact of the foreign capital on the banking system to be summarized; the importance of the foreign capital in the banking system functioning defined; the features of the functioning of banks with foreign capital in the banking system of Ukraine under the circumstances of integration and globalization researched and the main aspects of the state regulation and activities of the banks with foreign capital in the context of Basel III rules concerned; the influence of the foreign capital on the financial stability of the banking system researched; the ways to improve the activity of the Ukrainian banks due to using foreign experience and ways to optimize the process of attracting foreign capital in the banking system of Ukraine offered.The proposals and recommendations will result in restructuring the activities of banks with foreign capital in the context of their ensuring the efficient functioning under the European Union standards
