Abstract

Diante da complexidade e fragmentação crescentes da realidade, tem-se buscado elaborar estratégias metodológicas que possibilitem uma compreensão mais abrangente dos fenômenos estudados. Este artigo alia ao referencial teórico das Representações Sociais a técnica da triangulação de dados na tentativa de identificar quais são os significados que as populações instaladas em áreas de mananciais atribuem às águas e ao meio ambiente e de que forma apropriam-se dos recursos naturais locais.Facing the increasing reality complexity and frangmentation, it has been acquired an elaboration on methodological strategies which enable to embrace a wider comprehension of the studied phenomenon. This article connects to Social Representation theoretical referential a technic of data triangulation, in attempt to identify the significance attributed by the population, installed in fountainhead areas, to waters and environment, and in which way the local natural resources are appropriated.
