Progressive hemifacial atrophy (PHA), also known as Parry-Romberg syndrome (PRS), is an auto-limitable condition with unknown etiology, characterized by slow and progressive hemiatrophy affecting one side of the face. It is a rare disorder, causing degenerative deformities involving the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles, and sometimes extending to the osteocartilaginous structures, causing aesthetic, functional, and psychological problems, eventually affecting the quality of life of the patient. Management involves a multidisciplinary approach.
