ANALISIS MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA SISWA KELAS XI MIA 4 SMA NEGERI 3 KOTA JAMBI PADA MATA PELAJARAN FISIKA

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to determine the level of student's motivation in the subject of physics. In this research, researchers used mixed research methods. Meanwhile, the subject of this research is the students of class XI in Senior High School Number 3 Jambi City. The sample is determined by simple random sampling technique, which is random sampling technique. The samples chosen were all students of class XI MIA 4 which amounted to 38 students, while in the sample interview selected was 4 students. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the students of class XI MIA 4 SMAN 3 Kota Jambi have motivation that is categorized being. This is indicated by the high percentage of six indicators and student statements which reveal that students are diligent and tenacious in doing the task, and prefer to work independently.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian campuran. Sementara, subjek pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Sampel penelitian ditentukan melalui teknik simple random sampling, yakni teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak. Sampel yang dipilih ialah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA 4 yang berjumlah 38 siswa, sementara pada wawancara sampel yang dipilih ialah 4 siswa. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMAN 3 Kota Jambi memiliki motivasi yang dikategorikan sedang. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan cukup tingginya persentase pada enam indikator dan pernyataan siswa yang mengungkapkan bahwasanya siswa tekun dan ulet dalam mengerjakan tugas, serta lebih suka untuk bekerja secara mandiri.
