The use of informational-communicational technologies for teaching reading to future teachers of English
Abstract
The article characterizes domestic and world experience of informational-communicational technologies use, namely computer programs for studying different types of speech activity, determines criteria of program’s quality, carries out the analysis according to these criteria. It is set that in quantity correlation prevail the computer programs for teaching speaking and writing, the programs for listening comprehension and reading come into the notice of modern methodists far less. It is distinguished that the teaching computer programs for reading are based on the specificity of electronic text. The peculiarities, advantages and disadvantages of computer programs use for teaching future teachers of English language reading fictional texts have been scrutinized in this text.
