FEMININE STRATEGIES AND MARRIAGES SUSPICIOUS: A INTERTEXTUAL READING OF THE STORY “ERNESTO DE TAL”, DE MACHADO DE ASSIS

Abstract

This article proposes to argue, from the story Ernesto de tal, of Histrias da meianoite (1873), the social aspects in the construction of the feminine and maculine characters and the interventions of the narrator, distrustful of the loving adequacy of the woman and man to the marriage.
