Basic needs of orphan children are directed at eliminating the deficit in love, affection and recognition. The implementation of the program of social and psychological support of orphaned children in SOS Children’s Village allows to form emotionally mature affection to closest people. This is manifested as the ability to establish the optimum psychological distance in interaction with other people (without estrangement and without emotional dependence), confidence in the surrounding people, perception of people as reliable and understanding, and adequate perception of their critique.
