The article investigates the essence of political and communicative space, the mechanisms of its formation and channels of influence on public opinion. Disclosed are its universal characteristics: multidimensionality, heterogeneity and its role in legitimizing the ruling political regime. Underlines the relationship of effective communication with resource base of communicator and socio-political order of representative social and political groups.
