In this study, the relationships between fish biodiversity indicators and their relationship with water physicochemical parameters in Shadegan wetland were investigated. Sampling was carried out seasonally at five stations of Shadegan wetland include Doragh (Mahshahr), Rogabe, Khorosy, Salmaneh, Atish. During this study, 3700 specimens were measured and weighed from April 2012 to March 2013. The Margalefs (biological richness) index showed the lowest and the highest levels in Khorosy and Mahshahr stations, respectively and the highest and lowest values in spring and summer, respectively. The Shannon index of Mahshahr and Salmaneh showed the highest and lowest values, respectively. The highest and lowest values of this index were also observed in spring and summer, respectively. The Evenness index in Salmaneh and Khorosy had the lowest and highest values, respectively and the highest and lowest values were also observed in spring and summer, respectively. The Simpson index of Mahshahr and Salmaneh stations showed the highest and lowest values, respectively, but no obvious differences were obtained in different seasons. The values of different indices were not statistically significant (P> 0.05) in different stations and seasons., Parameters of nitrate and salinity showed an increased and phosphate, dissolved oxygen and BOD5 showed a decrease compared to the previous study. Fish wetland index in Shadegan indicates that the condition of the wetland is in the middle ecological zone.
