Inmunocompromised patients .have frequently affected their stomatologic system, and need dental care to maintain the health of the oral cavity, giving the possibility of a good nourishment and avoiding the spread of infections from this system. The Hyper-Ig-ESyndrome (HIESRI) is an uncommon primary Mmzznodeficiency characterized by high serum IgE levels and recurrent abscesses owing especially to Staphylococcus aureus. A recent report of30HIESRIpatients and 70 of their relatives defined it as a multisystem disorder with alterations in the immune system, skin, dentition, bones and connective tissue. Dental abnormalities was informed as a delay in primary teeth exfoliation and noneruption of permanent teeth,- however, another stomatologic manifestations have not been rightly checked, for instance supernumerary teeth and recurrent oral candidiasis. Theese complex manifestations in different dssues and the markedheterogeneityin those clinical and laboratory findings reported, are probably explaining why, in spite of long years of research, neither phisyopathologic mecamS m nor specific defect have been found. We point out the importance of the dentist in the diagnosis and treatment of oral manifestations in inmunocomprornised patients.
