Abstract

The aim of this paper is to give a series of theoretical approximations to the construction ofthe identity and the subject in lyric poetry. Our intention is to show that every modern lyric poem goesthrough a double process: the fictiveness of the self and the self-reference. To be able to perform thisanalysis we are going to use as an example some poems of Javier Egea.
