A INTRODUÇÃO REFERENCIAL EM TEXTOS VERBO-IMAGÉTICOS

Abstract

Este artigo contempla parte dos resultados da pesquisa de doutoramento que teve por objetivogeral analisar o funcionamento referencial de objetos de discurso em textos verbo-imagéticos.Para tanto, foram selecionados 22 textos verbo-imagéticos presentes em dois gêneros distintos:a tira e o anúncio publicitário. A fundamentação teórica competiu aos postulados da LinguísticaTextual de base sociocognitivo-discursiva, especialmente a referenciação (MONDADA; DUBOIS,2003), por meio da abordagem referencial da não menção cotextual (CAVALCANTE, 2011). Osprincípios e categorias de análise dessa abordagem foram correlacionados à teoria de modelosde contexto de Van Dijk (2012). O foco deste artigo, especificamente, é mostrar como funcionamos objetos de discurso em uma das categorias de análise do corpus: a introdução referencial. Foiconstatado que em todos os textos houve introdução referencial realizada por objetos de discursonos modos verbal e imagético e recategorizados, prioritariamente, por objetos de discurso nomodo imagético. Também foi possível atestar a multifuncionalidade da introdução referencial,uma vez que não se deteve apenas à função de apresentar referentes. ABSTRACT This article is part of the doctoral research results which had the main object to analyze thereferential operation of objects of discourse in verb-imagery texts. For the analyses of objectsof discourse were selected 22 verb-imagery texts present in two different genres: the strip andthe advertisement. The theoretical validity was incumbent on the postulates of Textual Linguisticswith social cognitive discourse basis, specially the referenciation (MONDADA; DUBOIS, 2003),by the referential approach and non-contextual mention (CAVALCANTE, 2011). The principles and categories of analysis of this approach were correlated to the model theory of context byVan Dijk (2012). The focus of this article, specifically, is to show the objects of discourse in oneof corpus categories of analysis: the referential introduction. It was found that in all the textswas carried out by referential introduction, performed by objects of discourse in verbal andimaging manner and recategorized, primarily, by objects of discourse in imaging manner. It wasalso proved the multifunctionality of referential introduction, since not only showed the functionof presenting references.
