Abstract The Promenade of Wind is an entry building to experimental facilities on a nature‐rich hill where a fresh prevailing wind blows. The building provides an open passage space connecting the buildings standing on its 2 sides, and is used as a thinking, resting, communication, and meeting space for researchers. The big yajirobe (balancing‐toy) roof framed structure provides a variety of places to stay. We have created a space that makes you feel more familiar with natural changes by positively taking in “variations in environment”, such as changes in light and wind, through water features and natural ventilation.
