Asteridiella kodaikanalensis and Asteridiella shenbaganurensis are the two new species infecting the leaves of Symplocos anamallayana, an endemic plant of the Western Ghats, in the Shenbaganur forest near Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu. Both are described and illustrated in detail.
