«Como un aire yodado». Cinematographic Uses of Time, Perspective and Image in Francisco Ayala’s Short Stories of «Cazador en el alba» (1929)

Abstract

This article analyses Cazador en el alba, a short-stories collec tion published by Francisco Ayala in 1929, with the aim of studying the influence of cinematographic discourses on it. Narratological categories as time and pers pective, on one side, and visual images, on the other, will be examined in order to evaluate their contribution to portray a new view of the world.
