Explosive charge impulse during the contact detonation
Abstract
This article gives mathematical models of the impulses of detonations of the explosive charges which are in contact with metal plates of various features (movable and fixed, compressible and incompressible). The mathematical models are based upon the general detonation theory for the various explosive charges (with metal coverings both compressible and incompressible or without). These models are compared with the existing analytical models based upon the hypothesis that the impulse is direct ratio with 'the active mass of the explosive charge'. Their computer analysis is also included.
