Abstract

The collection of the Gazetilla curiosa o semanero granadino (1764-1765) that is kept in the Hemeroteca Municipal of Madrid contains, which confers a very unique character, numerous handwritten notes of a reader of the time: Pedro Pascual Sahagún y Cuesta. Through the analysis of these notes, this work is aimed to specify how he read and what the newspaper represented for him.
