Relevance. A calcifying fibrous tumor is a rare benign mesenchymal neoplasm with predominant localization in the limbs, neck, and deep soft tissues, and isolated cases of localization in the gastrointestinal tract. About 25 cases of this tumor that developed in the wall of the stomach are described in the English-language literature. Research goal. A review of the literature on calcifying fibrous tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. Presentation of a rare clinical case of calcifying fibrous tumor of the stomach. Materials and methods. Analysis of the literature on calcifying fibrous tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. Due to the rarity of calcifying fibrous tumor of the stomach, we present our own clinical case. Results. Demonstration of effective endoscopic treatment of a 51-year-old patient with a calcifying fibrous tumor of the body of the stomach. Conclusion. A detailed analysis of the literature demonstrates that the use of modern diagnostic methods leads to an increase in the frequency of detection of calcific fibrous tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. It may not be as rare for the gastrointestinal tract as previously thought. Despite the fact that clinical and imaging data are of little specificity and final verification is possible only after morphological examination, physicians of related specialties should keep this tumor in mind and include it in the differential series, especially when choosing a surgical method of treatment.
