The article deals with the presentation of the reemigration of the Czechs from Yugoslavia to Czechoslovakia after the World War II in the articles of the compatriot journal Jednota („Unity“). The topic is examined on the basis of content analysis. The period between 1946–1950 was chosen for the purpose of the article. During this time, a targeted reemigration of the Czechs from Yugoslavia to their homeland was established. As a part of analysis, relevant articles were searched for in the journal and categorized to answer the research question. The article deals with migration and re-emigration, the concept of “foreigners and returnees”. In more detail it analyzes national minorities and the territory of former Yugoslavia. These topics are further discussed in the analysis of a selected journal. The journal Jednota („Unity“) is one of the examples of journalistic activity, which contributed to popularization of language and culture of the minority.
