A systematic check list of flowering plants collected in the Addo Elephant National Park

Abstract

The vegetation and botanical exploration of the Park are discussed briefly. The 301 species of flowering plants recorded in the Park are listed in a systematic check list. Of the 54 families recorded, Compositae (39 spp.), Gramineae (32 spp.), Liliaceae (28 spp.) and Aizoaceae (28 spp.) are the best represented.
