This paper presents the multi-criteria analysis method to be used in the evaluation of public Intra-Urban Leisure and Recreation Open Spaces of the average city of Santa Maria, due to the current lack of planning of the Open Space System (OSS) of the city. There are no management criteria for existing open spaces or planned ones, such as squares and parks. This situation makes it difficult to indicate other potential open spaces, which should be articulated with the existing OSS.
