Recently many countries have initiated the second upsurge of deep space exploration. Mars is the planet that human beings focus on and even desire to emigrate. The United States launched the InSight lander to Mars in 2018 to explore the interior structure of Mars to understand its formation and evolution. The Insight is equipped with three sets of scientific equipment, among which the Martian seismometer is the most successful and has achieved a series of results. This article first describes the research progress of Martian seismology and interior structure of Mars, including the identification of marsquake and the implications of the internal structure of Mars. Then we introduce the seismic team of scientists, scientific equipment, and scientific software platform construction and corresponding organizational forms during the implementation of the Insight project. We also discuss its enlightenment and development suggestions for China's exploration of the interior structure of Mars in the future.
