In this study, the changes of the occlusal plane inclination due to the development of 96 patients with various malocclusions were evaluated on the lateral cephalometric radiographs before and after a mean of three years control period. 52 of these patients (22 girls, 30 boys) were Class I, 33 of these (15 girls, 18 boys) were Class II, and 11 of these (7 girls, 4 boys) were Class III patients. At the end of the study, it was shown that the angle between occlusal plane and SN, and the angle between occlusal plane and the maxillary plane were decreased both in Class I and Class II anomaly groups. The ANB angle, Y angle and the height of the lower molar alveolar process were significantly different between the groups.
