Ellen Broselow is a Professor of Linguistics at Stony Brook University and a Fellow of the Linguistic Society of America. Her work investigates loanword phonology, acquisition, and their interfaces with perception. She has authored dozens of articles on phenomena such as syllable structure, stress-epenthesis interactions, vowel insertion, and syllable weight. Her work employs a combination of experimental methods and theoretical models in order to formulate novel research hypotheses.
