Between crises and collapse: five notes on the structural bankruptcy of capitalism
Abstract
The aim of the text is to point in the frequent crises in the world economy since the 1970s are not ordinary expressions of capitalist instability but a sign of a collapse of bourgeois social formation. The usual assertion that "capital is crisis" makes the empty reflection about its history. It is not enough to stick to the merely factual description to show the news in crisis events. Only by facing categorically the historical process of capital is it possible to determine the collapse. We theoretically develop five processes that explain the originality of structural crash responsible for contemporary crises.
