PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BERBASIS REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION BERORIENTASI KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar materi peluang berbasis realistic mathematics education yang valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Uji coba dilakukan di SMPN 2 Buay Pemaca. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Hasil penilaian ini bahwa setiap komponen penilaian bahan ajar dari aspek materi maupun media tervalidasi dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Hasil analisis angket respon siswa diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat praktis. Keefektifan bahan ajar dilihat dari rata-rata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,77 dengan kriteria tinggi, proporsi siswa yang mencapai N-Gain kriteria tinggi sebesar 71%, dan uji t menunjukkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,003 kurang dari 0,05 sehingga ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah produk hasil pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis RME ini memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. This study aims to produce teaching materials based on realistic mathematics education that are valid, practical, and effective in terms of critical thinking skills. This research uses potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The trial was conducted at SMPN 2 Buay Pemaca. Collecting data using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the assessment showed that each component of the assessment of teaching materials from the material and media aspects was validated with good and very good criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire analysis showed that the teaching materials were stated to be very practical. The effectiveness of teaching materials is seen from the average N-Gain score of 0.77 with high criteria, the proportion of students who achieve high N-Gain criteria is 71%, and the t-test shows the value of Sig. of 0.003 less than 0.05 so it was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that the product development of RME-based teaching materials meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in improving critical thinking skills.
