Alicia Jurado writes on drama in Revista SUR

Abstract

Novelist, essayist, translator and biographer Alicia Jurado (1922-2011) published a series of theatre reviews in Revista SUR from 1956 to 1964. These seven articles summarize, as well, the magazine’s viewpoints: a high regard for the European theatre, looking down on local drama. This is clearly shown through one of their most active collaborators.
