Influence of modes of Er,Cr:YSGG laser on the efficiency of antibacterial treatment of root canal of tooth with chronic apical periodontitis

Abstract

In dentistry, chronic apical periodontitis is one of the most common diseases. This pathology is caused mainly by microbial factor. Therefore, the treatment of chronic apical periodontitis is necessary to conduct highquality anti-bacterial treatment of the root canal. One of methods of the disinfection is laser. With the help of microbiological study microflora of root canals of teeth before and after antibacterial treatment Er,Cr:YSGG laser identified the most effective mode of application of the laser in chronic apical periodontitis.
