Abstract

The geographic space is the result of the relations that occur in the territory, and to understand it is necessary to study a priori so that we can understand the path traveled to get where we are. The objective of this work was to understand and analyze how the urban planning process occurs in the city Delmiro Gouveia/AL. The research followed the following steps: i) theoretical discussions; (II) data collection; III) site visit; Iv) comparing information from the readings and observed data. Thus, reality and research followed the following steps: i) theoretical discussions; (II) data collection; III) site visit; IV) comparing information from the readings and observed data. Thus, in the municipality of Delmiro Gouveia/AL there is an accelerating growth, requiring a study of the competent bodies to better the issues of infrastructure, basic sanitation, to improve the quality of life of the population.
