Saiva Siddhanta philosophy is understood to be the ultimate and best foundation of all Indian philosophy. It is the consummation of Saivam by stating the threefold truths of Pathi + Pasu + Pasam and the guiding philosophy of Saivite life. Although Saiva Siddhanta philosophy has its origins in the Vedic period, it presents clear concepts in twelve Thirumurai with literary elegance. Subsequently, the Meikanda Satras, written by Santana Gurus during the reign of the Chola kings, constitute the fourteen laws of Saiva Siddhanta, a well-rounded logically structured philosophy and a practical guide of life. One of its main features is 'soul liberation'. Liberation of the soul can be possible when one is away from all sorts of affections and is concentrated on the attainment of Padhi. This is considered the ultimate goal according to Saiva Siddhanta. The liberation of the soul in Saiva Siddhanta is called mukti, veeduperu, and moksha and includes ways to achieve it through practical living. Therefore, by analyzing the concepts of soul liberation found in Saiva Siddhanta, this research is carried out under the title to improve the understanding of soul liberation in a society that engages in spirituality.
