A yeast-optimized single-cell transcriptomics platform elucidates how mycophenolic acid and guanine alter global mRNA levels
Abstract
Guste Urbonaite and Jimmy Tsz Hang Lee et al. present a droplet-based single-cell sequencing method optimized for use in yeast. They use their method—yeastDropSeq—to investigate the changes in gene expression profiles following treatment with the lifespan-extending compound mycophenolic acid and/or its epistatic agent, guanine.
