An Approach To 3D Surface Curvature Analysis

Abstract

This paper reviews the graphical tools available for checking the quality of CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Manufacture) surface models (B-Spline form). It is possible to use these methods by design and manufacture engineers to visually assess the quality of sculptured surfaces and perform the tool path of CAM system.
