Przedstawiono również zastosowanie leczenia trombolityczego w tzw. Złotej godzinie udarowej. Należy mieć na uwadze, że każde minuty, które odraczają podjęcie właściwego leczenia udaru niedokrwiennego mózgu przyczyniają się do uniemożliwienia wdrożenia nowoczesnych, specyficznych metod leczenia ( leczenie trombolityczego).
