Abstract

During pregnancy, many changes occur in the body to facilitate the normal support and development of the fetus. Among the organs that suffer significant changes include the skin. Changes that occur at the skin level are of several types: physiological changes, exacerbation of pre-existing conditions or dermatoses specific to the pregnancy. Knowing the physiological manifestations and their implications makes the difference from the point of view of the management, avoiding unnecessary treatments and investigations.
