Even though this literary genre is really valuable, diaries haven’t received the same attention as other autobiographical texts. That’s why we consider a priority to revisit this genre and analyze it through the Writing the Self theories, using Rostros del reverso (1997) by Lorenzo García Vega, who belonged to the cuban group Orígenes.
