A Conceptual Frame for Evaluating Success Factors being Critical for the Adaption of Externally Generated R&D
Abstract
Nowadays, enterprises require developing continuously innovations in their products, processes and organisational structures to gain and maintain competitive advantages. In this sense, the organizational adoption capacity of externally generated knowledge is becoming an increasingly crucial core capacity for businesses. Based on an empiric study, the present work proposes a model that aims at evaluating the organizational key drivers supporting the adoption of externally generated R+D. With this, it provides a management tool that might facilitate the determination of adequate strategies to take advantage of knowledge which is generated outide the own organizational borders.
