La valutazione della qualità di vita associata allo stato di salute nel dolore neuropatico con l’EQ-5D-3L - Evaluation of quality of life associated with the state of health in neuropathic pain with EQ-5D-3L

Abstract

The quality of life is a topic that is gaining increasing attention in the world of health care due to the growing patient involvement in decisions concerning their health. Measuring the level of pain means measuring a person’s suffering and all the discomfort associated with it. The study aims to evaluate the quality of life associated with the state of health in patients suffering from neuropathic pain with EuroQol-5D-3L. The findings of the observational study suggest, in agreement with the data reported in literature, that the way quality of life is influenced not only by objective factors such as actual clinical conditions but, above all, by the unique experience of every patient.
