Abstract Clinicians frequently manage animal bites and associated risks of rabies exposure. This resource is a video lecture presentation intended for educational use by practicing medical professionals and those preparing to become medical practitioners. The information presented here for the management of animal bites and rabies exposures has been used with learners from multiple clinical specialties and levels of training. This educational lecture was developed and first implemented in 2009 as a live lecture presentation at a regional continuing medical education event for approximately 100 practicing internal medicine and family practice physicians. The material was updated and implemented as an academic medical center grand rounds presentation in 2010 for approximately 50 emergency medicine faculty members, resident physicians, medical students, and midlevel providers. In 2011, the material was further updated and presented to 120 graduating medical students. The materials have been edited and improved based on feedback received from each of these audience groups.
