SOME CURRENT PROBLEMS OF REFORMING PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S SUPERVISION

Abstract

The paper addresses a debated topic of development stages of both public prosecutor’s office institution and public prosecutor's supervision as branch of law. The author analyses the main problems of public prosecutor's supervision reforms and those of creating a consolidated investigation body. The paper covers the main public prosecutor’s powers and duties in crime investigation supervision, and points out the current necessity to enlarge the public prosecutors’ powers.
